Cabal – Discussing the Position of Force Blader in FB and PvP After Grand Master

After the introduction of Grand Master, all major professions underwent changes. As a player of the Force Blader class, my understanding of other professions is limited, but I have some insights and research specifically on Force Bladers.

Let’s get straight to the point.

Firstly, let’s talk about Force Bladers (FB). In my personal opinion, the BUFF skills for Force Bladers have a significant impact in FB. Let’s take a look at the team-specific skills. Commanding Shout increases the maximum HP of team members by 450, while Battle Shout increases the attack power of team members by 110. The issue is that those who haven’t completed the level 140 advancement quest can’t enjoy both of these skills simultaneously. Therefore, a skilled Force Blader should know when to use which skill to achieve maximum effectiveness, meaning the highest damage in the shortest time. In normal situations, the effect of using Battle Shout is not significant, and its duration of 75 seconds makes it less valuable. However, after the update, Force Bladers gained a DEBUFF skill called Intimidating Shout. This skill should not be underestimated, as it is essential for both killing and facing bosses. It reduces the target’s resistance to fatal hit rate by -21% and fatal damage resistance by -30%, effectively granting the Force Blader a 21% increase in fatal hit rate and a 30% increase in fatal damage. It lasts for 30 seconds with a cooldown of 180 seconds. Comparatively, Battle Shout has a duration of 75 seconds and a cooldown of 270 seconds.

This means that in 540 seconds, Force Bladers can use Battle Shout twice and Intimidating Shout three times. In normal situations, using Commanding Shout for teammates and using Intimidating + Battle Shout during boss fights can significantly reduce the time required to defeat bosses.

Now, let’s look at another combination: Enhanced Endurance and Recovery Boost. One increases the maximum HP by 1000, while the other provides a 2-second recovery of 100 HP. With these two skills, Force Bladers can endure boss damage for a certain period. If there is both a Magic Force Blader and a Shield in the party, the situation becomes much simpler. First, the Magic Force Blader provides us with a +2 second recovery of 70 skill, then we use our own +2 second recovery of 100 skill. Finally, we activate our Bloody Rage, and the Shield provides us with Dark Shield. Even though using Bloody Defense reduces our defense, the Shield compensates with Dark Shield. After applying Intimidating Shout to the boss, I believe that a Force Blader can withstand a level 115 boss throughout the entire fight. If the level 140 advancement quest is completed, using Battle Shout + Bloody Rage + Intimidating Shout during boss fights will result in the following buffs: Fervent Blade, Guardian Aura, Guard, Bloody Rage, and Battle Shout. I believe the effects of these buffs are clear to everyone.

Overall, after this update, the position of Force Bladers in FB has significantly improved. It is no longer the worthless position it used to be. Having a Force Blader in the team ensures output and maximum HP, and in critical moments, a Force Blader can step up.

Now, moving on to PvP, Force Bladers have taken the path of a traditional warrior in online games: high defense and thick health. Easily reaching 3500+ HP and 5500+ HP with skills activated, our thick health is our biggest advantage against other professions.

Our Grand Master skill is not as weak as one might think. At a distance of 1-5 meters, a casting time of 3.0 seconds, and a cooldown of 4.0 seconds, it has its advantages. Is the damage low? Not at all. A level 9 Grand Master can deal over 1000 damage. If we look at DPS, a level 9 Grand Master deals 1000 damage, and a level 9 High Force Archer deals 1200 damage. The DPS of Grand Master is 333, while the DPS of High Force Archer is 279. So now, it’s all about Grand Master killing, and High Force Archer finishing. Plus, with the correct use of BUFF skills, a Force Blader, if not a king, is not someone to be underestimated (excluding Wizards, Shield Warriors, and others).

Against ranged professions like Magic Force Bladers and Archers, our speed and high HP are our advantages. Archers rely on knockdown and speed, which used to be their biggest advantage. However, the balance improvement has broken the advantage of knockdown for Archers. Grand Master has also compensated for our lack of speed. The balance improvement has shifted the advantage of knockdown from Archers to us. The skill itself provides a minimum 75% knockdown + a 30% knockdown increase from balance improvement. So, if it hits, they fall. The skill with the lowest level of knockdown resistance + the 30% knockdown increase from balance improvement means that once it hits, they fall. Additionally, the skill also makes the Magic Force Blader’s High Force Archer almost zero chance to stun us. The 12-meter dash and Charge Impact are our tools for closing the distance. At the beginning, we can use Grand Master and Charge Impact casually. After closing in, don’t release High from a distance. Remember, High explodes. If it doesn’t explode, it’s better not to release it. Apply Intimidating Shout to them, and as long as your own chance is not lower than 30%, you can be sure it will explode. When you apply Intimidating Shout, they will definitely run away. Don’t be afraid. Dash, Grand Master, fall down, close in with High, and even if they don’t die, they’ll be half-dead. Don’t look at the fact that High’s damage has decreased now, but because of the existence of Intimidating Shout, our High can still deal over 300 damage, and Grand Master can still explode with over 1500 damage. Moreover, if you feel relaxed, you can activate Bloody Rage and continue to enjoy the pleasure of killing.

Against Twin Blades, Intimidating Shout is also a must. They will give us Terrifying Intent, so it’s better not to defend. Instead, activate Bloody + Endurance Recovery + Intimidating Shout, and you’ll have 5000+ HP and 1250+ Attack. Don’t defend, and start killing the Silk-wearing Twin Blades. Once, after activating Bloody + Intimidating Shout, Grand Master + High Force Archer killed a Twin Blade with 3000 HP.

Against Magic Force Bladers, it’s a bit more complicated. Firstly, to deal with the 10-second time of Magic Freeze, we need to use Enhanced Endurance and Commanding Shout to increase our HP. Around 5000 HP can ensure that we still have 3500+ HP after Magic Freeze ends. Here’s a trick: put mana potions in your skill bar, pay attention to the time of Magic Freeze, and manually drink the potion after 10 seconds. It saves 3 seconds compared to automatic drinking. Then quickly dash and Charge Impact, apply Intimidating Shout. If they curse you, activate Recovery Boost. Make sure to maintain at least 1500 HP after all curses end. When everything is done, the moment to kill arrives. Bloody + Intimidating Shout + Battle, Grand Master + High Force Archer can definitely take away around 3200 HP.

Against Shield Warriors… When Dark Shield is activated, I’m speechless. Return to town, not playing anymore.

The above is my personal conclusion. PvP has too many variables, and what I wrote is just some basic ideas and experiences I have practiced personally.

I hope all Force Bladers continue to persist. Warriors will always be warriors. Even if we are trampled underfoot for a lifetime, we cannot give up the dignity of warriors because we are warriors, not Wizards or Assassins.
